![]() The Pacific strings were recorded with a lot of dynamics, like I have been doing on Voyage. It uses fundamental techniques like rep sampling for shorts and so forth, but doesn’t get into really experimental articulations, nor less common arts (arguably) like sul pont trem or col legno. Pacific was originally just a classical symphonic strings project (16-12-10-8) which I wanted to do in one cohesive group of sessions. Recorded in different halls with different musicians. They are completely separate full orchestra libraries. What’s the difference between Pacific and Voyage, then? All recorded in the same space with the same setup.
